Before shopping for a home in the Tampa Bay area, we recommend that you contact a lender to become Pre-Qualified. When the right home comes along, a solid pre-qualification or pre-approval letter from a recognizable lender will put you in a stronger negotiating position. You may not be the only one who recognizes a good value. The lender will also provide a “Good Faith Estimate of Closing Costs” that will spell out the closing costs and monthly payments.
